“Go…” A voice spoke from the darkness into his inner being…
“Go?, Go where?”
“Just Go…
I’ll tell you when you get there.”
Hmm…
You ever felt like the call of God is just like the one that Abram received.
I don’t know where I am going…but I’m just supposed to go.
It is totally different from our way of doing things.
We must have a destination in mind…
And then we must have a road we are going to follow…
We look at the number of paths to that destination and then we decide on one to follow based on which one is the most feasible.
“Lord, if you want me to go, why don’t you tell me where I am going so that I can make sure that I plan the right path to get there…” Someone might say.
But maybe…
Just maybe…
[bctt tweet=”You Ain’t Always Told The Destination So That God Can Remains In Control Of The Travel Itinerary. #SoulPreaching”]
The reason you ain’t always told the destination is because God wants to tell you NOT JUST WHERE YOU ARE GOING…
BUT HOW YOU ARE GONNA GET THERE…
God says go…
It is time to go…
I ain’t mad at ya for asking God where you are going.
That is sensible…
And sometimes we know where we are going…And God leads us…
But you know sometimes we are like Abraham…and we gotta just get up and go and God will tell us when we get there…
That is true for you…and that is true for your people.
We are all in the midst of journeys and it is important to remember that…
Your people need encouragement to keep their hand on the plow and hold on…
Even if they don’t know where they are going as they follow that God given path into the brighter tomorrow…
Till Tomorrow,
Brother Sherman
