God will Turn a watch into a Warning
God shows up every time 2 or 3 are gathered in God’s name. (Matthew 18:20)
But, every once in a while…
God Sho-nuff shows up…
Yall know what I’m talking about…
When the power of God is so thick that even those who ain’t heard from God in years say, “Surely the Lord was in this place.”
There is just something bout the way the choir sang that song…
There is just something about the way the Spirit that was felt…
Even the announcements called forth praises…
And the preaching…
Yes…The preaching…
Summoned power from God like you ain’t getting every week…
How does that happen?
What can we do to make sure that happens every week?
I ain’t gonna lie to you…I don’t know…
But what I do know…is that the preacher can do her or his best to make sure the climate is right…
You know sometimes when I am looking at the weatherman…they tell us that there is a tornado watch…
That means that the climate is right for a tornado.
But ain’t nobody seen the tornado yet…
That don’t mean that a tornado has formed. That don’t mean that anybody has seen a tornado. It just means that the atmosphere is set up in such a way that a tornado could happen at any time…
But then when a tornado is spotted…
The Weatherman then announces that it is no longer a watch…
It is a warning…
That watch turns into a tornado warning.
Then…
You better hold on to your hat…
Get into your safe place…
Cause something is fixin to happen…
Now preachers and worship coordinators. We need to make sure that the atmosphere is right…
We need to make sure that the conditions are right…
We need to make sure that we have studied…like we should…
We have prayed like we should…
We have planned like we should…
We done all we can do…
Then the conditions are right…There is a Special Spirit-Power Watch yall, every week…
Yes God is there every week…but we have prepared things for that special spirit power…
let’s get ready for it…
Cause every once in a while…
When the Spirit feels like it…
The Holy Ghost adds just that little umph that turns that Watch into a warning…

I can’t tell you when it is gonna happen…all I’m telling you is to make the conditions right for it…
And then when God feels like it…God will turn that watch…into a warning…
