Why don’t you ever talk about Bible Prophecy?
Why don’t you ever talk about Unique Denominational Doctrines?
Why don’t you ever talk about maintenance of the denominational structure?
Is it because I don’t think they should ever be in the sermon?
Nope…
Is it because I don’t think these things are important?
Nope…
Then what is it?
Good question…
Soul Preaching readers are primarily Baptist and Pentecostal, but those two groups only make up 75% of our readers.
The other 25% include Presbyterians, Methodists, Lutherans, Adventists, and Catholics. I even have had at least one Mormon to email me.
What does that mean?
It means that the readers disagree on Bible prophecy. You disagree on how to maintain the church structure…
So..what am I saying?
I am saying that you should supplement what I am saying with some things…
Things that are specific to your denomination…
Things that are specific to your particular church…
Yes…
If you are evangelical…you are going to have a slightly different emphasis than if you are catholic…
But…check it out…everyone can make use of the fundamentals…
Preach for the hearing of the “least of these.”
Preach for understanding…
Preach intentionally…
And I don’t care what doctrine you talking bout…Try to find something to celebrate…
