The Bible, Swing, and Syncopation

Over at the Jazz Theologian blog there is a discussion of swing and syncopation in Bible Hermeneutics. The Jazz Theologian believes that syncopation

can be applied to the scriptures and if we do, we will discover, not hidden meaning but meaning that has been missed because it falls on the off beats of scripture.

In this post he encourages us to see in the scripture not just the main beats, but the off-beats as well.
